This is a rare and wonderfully unique handmade 1940's silver and abalone cigarette tabletop box.

The box is in excellent condition.  No chips or damage to this pretty piece.  The hinge works well and it opens to a wooden lined base of rosewood. 

The piece is hallmarked on the bottom with what appears to be the manufactures hallmark.  We are unable to make out the exact company.

It is approximately 4 inches square by 7/8th of an inch in height.  It's a very heavy well made piece that looks stunning and works perfectly.
